Ava's Story
Hi, I’m Ava!
When I was in 1st grade, I struggled with reading and didn’t know why. I could see the words but couldn’t read them, which made me feel embarrassed and left out. I was often teased and felt discouraged until I told my mom how I felt. She took me to a specialist, and I found out I have Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. At first, I felt sad, but my mom reminded me that being different made me unique—and a Genius! That’s when I came up with the idea for Team Genius Squad.
I discovered my love for hands-on STEM activities, which helped me learn in creative ways. In 2020, I made my first STEM experiment video, “How to Make Hand Sanitizer at Home,” and the amazing response inspired me to become Ava The STEM Princess. Now, I create STEM products, videos, and experiments to inspire and educate kids like me.
Being different is my superpower, and I love sharing my journey. Together, we’re all part of Team Genius Squad!

As a mother of a neurodivergent child with dyslexia and dysgraphia, watching Ava face bullying and academic challenges was incredibly difficult. But seeing her overcome those struggles and turn them into a mission to inspire others has been nothing short of amazing. Your belief in her vision and support of her STEM initiatives mean the world to me.
To parents, grandparents, and educators supporting children with learning differences: I know how overwhelming it can feel. There were times I felt lost and unsure of how to help Ava, but I’ve learned this—never give up. Every child’s journey is unique, and with the right support, their potential is limitless.
Thank you for helping Ava inspire countless children to embrace their unique Genius. Together, we’re building a brighter future, one STEM experiment at a time!

Our mission is to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) awareness, encourage individuals to believe in themselves, to identify their uniqueness and pursue their goals.
To achieve this we design STEM inspired products; and develop fun educational videos for all ages. Our vision is to create global awareness regarding the importance of believing in oneself even when challenges arise, and how STEM concepts can play a significant role in personal skills exploration and uncovering unique talents. We envision individuals actively engaging in identifying their inner Genius and making their unique imprint on the world.
